Frequently Asked Questions

Q1: Are your direct thermal labels BPA/BPS-free and phenol-free? +

A: DT Eco is BPA/BPS-free. DT Top-coated is BPA/BPS-free and phenol-free. For applications needing phenol-free certification, choose Top-coated DT.

Q2: Will these work with my printer? +

A: Yes — 57 x 32 mm labels are compatible with most desktop models (Zebra GK420D / ZD421, TSC, Citizen, Toshiba) and many portable or industrial printers. Choose the core size that suits your setup.

Q3: Are 57 x 32 mm labels waterproof? +

A: Standard direct thermal paper is not waterproof. For moisture or abrasion resistance, select Thermal Transfer synthetics such as polypropylene or polyester with a wax-resin or resin ribbon.

Q4: Which adhesive should I choose for freezers or temporary use? +

A: Use Freezer-grade permanent for cold storage, and Removable for temporary or repositionable applications.
Compatibility: Freezer is offered with Top-coated DT and TT Paper; Removable is not available with TT Polyester or Tamper-evident materials.

Q5: Do you offer this label in other sizes? +

A: Yes — we also make 52 × 38 mm, 60 × 40 mm and 76 × 38 mm labels, plus custom sizes to your specification.

Q6: How do I know which label type to choose? +

A: Tell us about your printer and application — we’ll help you choose the best material, adhesive and print method for your needs.
